WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE MOUNT ERIN COLLEGE SEAL PROGRAM?
The Mount Erin College SEAL Program is demanding and rewarding. It provides students with challenge and enrichment in an academic peer group. The SEAL program is designed specifically to cater for students with above average intellectual skills and creativity.
The program is suited to students who:
- Are academically above average and who will excel across most of the key learning areas;
- Have a strong and positive self-concept;
- Have high levels of creativity;
- Have a high level of maturity and commitment;
- Are capable of independent learning.
Students accepted for the SEAL Program may not be achieving outstanding results in their present school environment.
SEAL testing – Monday 2nd May 2016
Submission date for applications for the SEAL Program for 2017: Week 5, Term 2 – Friday 13th May 2016 by 4.00pm
Once all applicants have been interviewed, letters will be sent home stating whether the applicant was successful in obtaining a position in the program, placed on a waiting list, or regretfully declined.
Interviews will take place by appointment only on Monday 23rd & Tuesday 24th May 2016 – Week 6, Term 2.
First round offers will be released on Friday 3rd June 2016 – Week 8, Term 2
